First and most important thing is to come hydrated.
Drink plenty of water in the hours leading up to your class. If you are taking a morning class, adequately hydrate the night before. Also, bring a bottle of cold water with you as well. You’ll thank me later.
If your class is during the day, try not to a practice ona full stomach. If it’s in the morning, maybe opt for a light snack like a piece of fruit or toast.

In general, keeping your hair out of the way you will be helpful.
Let go of expectations
I consider whis one the most important.Leave your expectations at the door. Allow yourself to be present in the moment, on your mat, with your body. Forget what you think you’re “supposed” to be doing.
It’s so easy to get caught up in what the lady/guy on the next mat is doing. Commit to focusing on you and YOUR practice. Remember it’s personal.
