Most people when they suffer a heart attack are almost helpless. The person whose heart is beating improperly and starts to feel bad has only about 10 seconds before he\she faints.
But you can help yourself by coughing vigorously and incessantly. Take a deep breath before coughing. Cough must be deep and prolonged, as when you cough secretions from the lungs.
Inhaling and coughing must be repeated every two seconds without stopping until the ambulance arrives, or until you feel that your heart beats again in the right rhythm.
Deep breathing brings oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements causes leading to pressure on the heart and maintain the circulation. The pressure of the heart helps to restore normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.
