Usually we get penicillin as a shot prescribed by the doctor. However, there is a scientifically proven thing, that you can make your own. Oranges and simple bread are two of the most universally common household kitchen items. But did you know that oranges and bread are capable of producing penicillin simply by letting them sit around and age?
That green disgusting mold which develops on the surface of bread is actually called Penicillium. Keeping in mind that in real world cases infections can result in serious medical concerns, loss of a limb or death if left untreated, without access to modern medical supplies would you know what to do to help yourself or your close one.
Here is the procedure:
– Take bread and put it in a container.
– Allow it to stay until the spores begin to form.
– Break the bread in smaller pieces.
– Add some moisture, such as misting and put the bread pieces in the same container again. Close well.
– Observe the mold growth and do not remove it until the majority of the mold culture becomes totally green.
The mold growth occurs in three stages, white, blue and green stage. You will need the green mold, as it is shown in the picture above. This green mold is matured and contains large amounts of penicillin. Now you can start your treatment. You have a few options:
Take the bread clumps, fill up a large cup full of them and add warm water (not boiling water). Mix together and consume. Repeat as necessary, essentially as daily doses of penicillin. It is important to note that while you are growing the mold, you are most likely growing other things. Not all of the helpful. And when you consume the bread will be getting both penicillin and that bad stuff. Yes, it will also taste terrible. Does the bad outweigh the good? In the scenario above, diarrhea or upset stomach are much less serious problems compared to a major infection. So it can be worth it. This remedy have been used for thousands of year in ancient cultures and has also been seen in many folk remedies around the United States for centuries.
In case the wound is clean and fresh and without infection, you should use honey topically on the affected area to prevent the activity of bacteria that lead to infections. Many of you don’t know that bandages with honey are still applied in emergency rooms. When we talk about home remedies, just spread honey all over the affected area and use a clean piece of cloth to wrap the area.
Of course, there are many more sophisticated procedures that can help people make penicillin. So, if you have free time and you have the resources you will be able to create effective penicillin from the substances we’ve mentioned. Since penicillin is available almost everywhere and it is not expensive, making this remedy may not be useful.
